Sangam Earth is a mixture of soils innovated by artisans in Sangamner. These soils are quick setting and make it easy for the idols to be moulded. This material is a mixture of several naturally occurring soils to make a mixture is that quick setting when fluid and can be poured into a mould to reduce production time. The fluid poured takes shape with minute detailing providing a beautiful finished idol. The mixture has been lab tested and easily integrates with garden soil after visarjan.
